Chat Spam

Sending 5 or more messages in a row, or spamming a line of characters.

Example: "plz visit my islanddddddddddddddd"

Symbols

Using too many symbols in chat. A few small, harmless symbols are fine, but do not overuse or spam them.

Non-English

Public chat is English only. Use party chat, island chat or private messages to talk in other languages.

Filter Bypass

Getting around the chat filter on purpose to swear or advertise.

Inappropriate Chat

Obscene or inappropriate topics, and anything else that has no place on the server, including political debates.

Disrespect

Disrespecting another player, a staff member or the server in any form. Repeated disrespect can lead to a Toxicity punishment.

Fake Messages

Making up a message that looks real, usually to trick players.

Example: "[Alert] Press Alt+F4 for free money!"

Hackusating

Repeatedly accusing a player of hacking without enough evidence, and not stopping when staff ask. Use /report instead.

Light Advertising

Encouraging players to join another server, follow your social media or open your media link. Mentioning Hypixel is allowed; mentioning networks that compete with MineFury is not.

Example: "Let's go play my friend's survival server, ask me for the IP!"

Impersonation

Pretending to be another player, a staff member or a YouTuber, including through nicknames.

Minor Glitch Abuse

Abusing any glitch. If you find a bug, report it to a staff member right away.

Example: Using /speed 5 in PvP.

Event Abuse

Cheating in an event, including using alts to get around KOTH's restrictions. This covers the Events server too.

Lag Machines

Machines or contraptions that lag the server, whether on purpose or not.

Player Casinos

Player-run casinos are not allowed.

Inappropriate Builds

Obscene, offensive or derogatory builds.

Kill Boosting

Using alts, friends or anyone else to boost your kills.

Nickname Abuse

Abusing /nick or using an inappropriate nickname, including impersonating staff or YouTubers.

Misusing /report

Using /report to troll or annoy.

Claim Trapping

Building around a player's claim to block them in, restrict them or grief them.

TP Trapping

Tricking players into teleporting to you and then killing or trolling them.

In-Game Scamming

Trying to scam a player out of in-game items: fake auction house listings, misleading trade items, pulling items out of a trade and so on. Staff decide what counts as scamming.

Inventory Flooding

Filling a player's inventory with items to hurt them, such as stuffing it with water buckets in PvP.

Rule Breaking Encouragement

Encouraging players to break the rules in any way. Pretending to break a rule counts too.

Example: "Look at the autoclicker I'm using!"

Harassment

Bullying another player: excessive disrespect, sexual harassment or any other persistent harassment.

Toxicity

Repeatedly breaking rules, testing limits or being a nuisance on the server.

Autoclicking and AFK Clicking

Automatic clicking of any kind, including rebinding. If you are unresponsive while grinding, mining or clicking and get banned for autoclicking, that is on you. Staff decide whether you were AFK clicking, usually after 10 to 30 seconds without a response.

Excessive Alts

You may have up to 3 alt accounts besides your main. Alts may stay AFK but may not run any automated tasks.

Banning Staff

Banning staff from your island is not allowed. Triggering the anticheat while doing so is treated as cheating. If you think a staff member is abusing this, message a manager.

Account Sharing

Sharing an account to grind, share items or gain any other unfair advantage.

Example: Sharing an account so it can grind around the clock.

Alt Abuse

Using alts to claim one-time rewards more than once or to gain any other advantage. Ask a staff member if you are unsure.

Disallowed Modification

Any mod that is not on the legal modifications list and has not been approved by staff, plus any physical or software trick that gives an unfair advantage: printers and similar mods, two mice at once, a debounce time under 10 ms, rebinding left click, drag clicking and the like.

Example: Easyplace or fast place, weighing a key down, or setting a mouse button to double click.

Racism and Discrimination

Racist remarks, phrases or slurs, and discrimination of any kind.

Suicide Encouragement

Encouraging suicide or self-harm in any way.

Hacking

Any disallowed client, texture pack or modification that gives you an unfair advantage.

Threats

Threatening to harm other players, including DDoS and doxing threats.

Griefing

Stealing from or damaging another player's plot, island or build on purpose. Wrecking the survival world with lava monsters or other large builds that make the terrain unusable counts too.

IRL Trading

Selling in-game items for real money. Trading in-game items for store items or gift cards is allowed, though discouraged.

IRL Scamming

Scamming a player out of real-world items or gift cards.

Island Insiding

Joining an island to steal its items.

Extreme Harassment

Extreme sexual remarks or any other extreme harassment.

Autoclicking in PvP

Any autoclicker in PvP, under any circumstances, including rebinding left click and drag clicking.

Kicking Members

Kicking a member who has put value into the island (blocks, items or skycoins) without a good reason. Ask staff if you are unsure what counts, or if you cannot agree on how to split the items.

Alt Islands

Everything must stay on one island. A second island for storing wealth, extra space, or doing missions and achievements for their rewards is not allowed.

Disallowed Macro or Script

Keybinds that win chat games or give any other unfair advantage, and scripts that automate actions such as fishing or farming.

Advertising

Directly promoting another server, for example by posting its IP in chat.

Harmful Links

IP grabbers, porn links or any other harmful links in chat.

Dupe Glitches

Duplicating items, or looking for exploits to do so. Reporting a dupe to staff is often rewarded; abusing one is a permanent ban.

Major Glitch Abuse

Exploiting any glitch with serious effects on the server, such as crashing it or griefing with it. If you find a glitch, tell a staff member right away.

Botting

Using bots to have several accounts join the server and chat or perform actions.

Leaking Personal Information

Sharing anything that identifies a player, such as their address, full name or social media.

Inappropriate Skins

Wearing a skin that breaks any of the other rules.

Inappropriate IGN

Using a username that breaks any of the other rules.

Alt Islands2 DQ POINTS

Everything must stay on one island. A second island for storing wealth, extra space or anything else is not allowed.

Hacking or Autoclicking1 DQ POINT

Each time a member of the island is banned for hacking or autoclicking, the island gets a point.

Unauthorized Entry2 DQ POINTS

Glitching or exploiting your way into an island, plot or claim you were kicked or banned from, or are not allowed in. If you cannot reach an area the normal way, do not use a loophole.

Laggy Farms and Islands3 DQ POINTS

Keep lag at a reasonable level and change your island or farms when staff ask. Efficient farms are encouraged. There is no punishment if the laggy machine is removed in good time.

Minor Exploits2 DQ POINTS

Using a glitch that does not break the game to get an unfair advantage. Report these to a staff member.

Scripts4+ DQ POINTS

Scripts that run several commands at once or automate actions such as fishing or farming. Single-command macros, like the ones in Labymod, may be allowed: ask a staff member. The points can vary.

Major Exploits5 DQ POINTS

Using any major glitch or exploit, dupes included, without reporting it to staff means instant disqualification.

Merging Islands5 DQ POINTS

Merging or unmerging islands to affect /is top in any way. An admin must approve every merge first, and the merging island may not bring any of its belongings.

Splitting Wealth5 DQ POINTS

Giving wealth to smaller islands to collect more than one /is top reward. A team can hold only one /is top position per payout.

Island Boosting5 DQ POINTS

Giving or selling items at unreasonable prices, or making unreasonable offers, to change the /is top leaderboard, or boosting to work against other islands. The management team decides what is unreasonable. This applies all season and is strictly enforced before every payout. Giving grinded items or renting dragon boss sets to other islands to sell for a cut, so they get a higher sell multiplier, is not allowed. Serious cases can also mean a Tier 4 ban.

Extreme Toxicity1 DQ POINT

Islands may not be overly toxic in chat or in what they do. Friendly competition is welcome, but there is a line. A manager must approve every toxicity DQ.

Swapping IslandsPOINTS SET BY STAFF

Before moving from one island to another, tell a member of the management team (jr. admin or above) so they can check what you bring. Nothing that affects island value may come along: money, value blocks, skycoins, spawners or anything else management names.

Unreasonable GiveawaysPOINTS SET BY STAFF

Giveaways or drop parties with enough value to affect the /is top leaderboard (money notes, value blocks and so on). Small giveaways are fine. If yours could affect the game, open a ticket and get staff permission first. Serious cases can also bring a punishment.

Island Owner Voting

If enough members agree the island leadership should change, they can open a ticket asking a manager to review the transfer. The management team decides what counts as enough.

Other Unlisted Rules

The management team can give DQ points in extreme cases that no rule above covers. The island leader is messaged before any points are given. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, message a staff member or open a ticket on the Discord.

Alt Boosting5 DQ POINTS

Everything must stay on one island. You may not invite your alts to the island or interact with them in any way: trades, dropped items, payments and so on. Alts may only vote (their rewards may not go to your main, except gift cards) and keep chunks loaded. They may not help grind island value in any way.

Island Trusting2 DQ POINTS

Trusting other players on your island to grind, build or place value, unless you pay them properly for the work. Solo islands may not get free help from other islands or players.

Solo Boosting5 DQ POINTS

Bringing value, currency, spawners or anything else that affects /is top from an old team island to a new solo island. Ask management or open a ticket on the Discord if you are unsure what you may bring.
