GYMS & BATTLE TOWER
Player-run gyms with badges, the Elite Four and Champion, and the 20 floor Battle Tower.
Updated
MineFury has two structured battle challenges. Gyms are run by players: real Gym Leaders defend each type, and you collect badges on the way to the Elite Four and the Champion. The Battle Tower is a solo climb against NPC trainers that pays Battle Points for every floor you clear.
THE GYM CIRCUIT
Run /gym to open the Gym Circuit. Each gym has a card showing its type, badge, recommended levels, its Gym Leader and whether you can challenge it right now. There are eight type gyms, and you can take them in any order:
- Rock Gym · Boulder Badge, Lv. 10-25.
- Water Gym · Cascade Badge, Lv. 20-35.
- Electric Gym · Thunder Badge, Lv. 30-45.
- Grass Gym · Rainbow Badge, Lv. 35-50.
- Fire Gym · Volcano Badge, Lv. 45-60.
- Psychic Gym · Marsh Badge, Lv. 55-70.
- Ice Gym · Glacier Badge, Lv. 65-80.
- Steel Gym · Mineral Badge, Lv. 75-85.
ELITE FOUR AND CHAMPION
With all eight badges you can face the Elite Four. They are fought in order, and each one needs the seal from the one before:
- Blaze · Fire, Lv. 80-88, earns the Blaze Seal.
- Torrent · Water, Lv. 82-90, earns the Torrent Seal.
- Storm · Electric, Lv. 84-92, earns the Storm Seal.
- Shadow · Dark, Lv. 86-94, earns the Shadow Seal.
- Champion · Mixed types, Lv. 88-100, opens after the Shadow Seal and earns the Champion Crown.
HOW TO CHALLENGE A GYM
Gym Leaders are players appointed by staff, so a gym can only be challenged while its leader is online. A gym card reads No Leader when nobody holds the gym, Leader Away when the leader is offline, and Locked when you are missing a required badge.
- Queue open · when the leader has opened a queue, click the gym card to join it. The leader takes challengers in order, and you are told when it is your turn. /gym queue status shows your place and /gym queue leave takes you out.
- No queue · if the leader is online and free, clicking the card starts the battle straight away.
- One at a time · a leader fights one challenger at a time, and you can only be in one gym queue or battle at once. Logging out removes you from the queue.
GYM BATTLES AND BADGES
A gym battle is a player-versus-player battle against the leader's own team. Teams are not healed when the battle starts, so heal before you challenge. Win and the badge is yours; lose and you can queue again. Earned badges show in the Badge Case inside /gym, and you only need to earn each badge once.
THE BATTLE TOWER
Get to the tower with /warp battletower, and open its menu with /battletower. The menu shows your record and Battle Point balance, the tower's floors, the leaderboards and the Battle Point shop.
HOW A TOWER RUN WORKS
- 20 floors · each floor is one battle against an NPC trainer. Win and you move up to the next floor.
- Healed every floor · your team is healed before each battle.
- One loss ends the run · you are sent back out of the tower, and the next run starts again from floor 1.
- Once a day · you can start one run every 24 hours, counted from when your last run started.
- No EXP · your Pokémon do not gain experience from tower battles.
The server announces when a player enters the tower and when someone clears all 20 floors.
BATTLE POINTS
Every floor you win pays Battle Points straight away, so you keep them even if you lose further up:
- Floors 1-5 · 5 Battle Points each.
- Floors 6-10 · 10 Battle Points each.
- Floors 11-15 · 15 Battle Points each.
- Floors 16-20 · 20 Battle Points each.
A full clear of all 20 floors pays 250 Battle Points. Losing a floor pays nothing.
THE BATTLE POINT SHOP
Spend Battle Points in the shop inside /battletower:
- $25,000 · 250 Battle Points.
- 400 Tokens · 750 Battle Points.
- 20x EXP. Candy XL · 1,000 Battle Points.
- 5x Rare Candy · 1,500 Battle Points.
- Shiny Key · 2,500 Battle Points.
- Legend Key · 7,500 Battle Points.
- Shiny Legend Key · 8,500 Battle Points.
- DNA Splicer · 5,000 Battle Points (Cobblemon servers only).
- Fusion Key · 9,000 Battle Points (Cobblemon servers only).
TOWER LEADERBOARDS
Leaderboard boards at spawn show the top 20 players for total floors cleared, total tower clears, overall tower score and average clear time. They update every 15 minutes. The same rankings, plus best time and best floor for the tower, are in the Hall of Champions inside /battletower.
